This website

This website uses no cookies, no visitor statistics and no embedded third-party services such as Google Fonts or social media. There are no forms to fill in and nothing is stored in your browser.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse (legal basis: legitimate interests). This data is not used to track you or to build a profile.

Contact by email

If you send an email, your name, email address and message are used to answer your question and, should you become a client, to carry out the commission and invoice for it (legal basis: legitimate interests and, for clients, the performance of a contract). Email is handled by Google Workspace. Data required for the accounts is kept for seven years, as Dutch law requires; other correspondence no longer than needed to deal with your question or the commission.

Client portal

Clients log in to the client portal with their email address and a one-time code sent by email (Cloudflare Access). The portal shows only the lots and research intended for that client; this data is managed in Airtable. No passwords are stored.

Processors outside the European Union

Cloudflare, Google and Airtable are US companies. They process data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, where that does not apply, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may ask which data about you is kept, and have it corrected or deleted. You may also object to its use, ask for that use to be restricted, or request your data in a common digital format. Send an email to info@smeitinkartadvisory.com; you will receive an answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
